This 8 week course will enable Learners on the different type of seams/stitches/fabrics and give them the skills & techniques to create a number of projects throughout the 8 week course.
Handouts and demonstrations will be given weekly for the Learner to complete each week.
Learners will gain a basic knowledge & understanding of the dressmaking/home interiors and textiles.
It is appropriate for Learners who are motivated & challenged by learning through hands-on experiences & through content which is concrete & related directly to those experiences.
This course is appropriate for learners looking for basic sewing/pattern skills, knowledge in Fashion/Dressmaking sector with a bit of fun for good measure.
This course can lead onto NCFE Level 1

This 3 week prep and Ncfe Level 1 course will enable Learners on the different type of seams/stitches/fabrics and give them the skills & techniques to create a number of projects throughout the 30 week course. They will also be encouraged to create mood boards on the chosen project piece to give them a clear understanding on how they want the project to be made and the finshed piece.
Learners will gain a basic knowledge & understanding of the dressmaking/home interiors and textiles.
It is appropriate for Learners who are motivated & challenged by learning through hands-on experiences & through content which is concrete & related directly to those experiences.
This course is appropriate for learners looking for basic sewing/pattern and fabric skills, knowledge & qualities required in the Fashion/Dressmaking sector with a bit of fun for good measure.
